The Country Club of Roswell is a welcoming community with a friendly and healthy lifestyle for all ages with a fun, active, and engaged membership, where everyone comes to play. Anchored by a gorgeous 18-hole golf course, 13 well-maintained tennis courts, casual and fine dining, members and guests can join special events, youth activities, and more. We sat down with Mike Dooda, membership director to find out more.
What are members' favorite activities in March and April?
Our members thoroughly enjoy attending our monthly trivia nights, the spring wine dinners and our staple club brunches, like Easter brunch, which hosts over 400 members, friends, and guests in our Grand Ballroom; and our deck opening party, which welcomes our members to enjoy our Azaela Deck in warmer temperatures and brand-new spring menu offerings!
What are the newest additions to the club?
The newest additions to the club that we are really excited about are our pickleball program, recently renovated event and dining space, a newly upgraded sound system in the Grand Ballroom and upgraded pool furniture and amenities.
Tell us about your fan-favorite team member. Our members love Lisa Trombino, who is a fixture on the beverage cart during golf outings and tournaments and at the Magnolia Bar as our lead bartender during dinner service or member events. She’s been at the club for over 15 years and has become a beloved member of our staff and a great team leader.
What does chef have up his sleeve for March and spring?
Aside from our member favorite event that we regularly host, we are also excited about our mother- daughter high tea, our Paddy’s & Pints event for St. Patrick's Day, and a special Master’s themed dinner.
What else would you like to share with readers? Our summer camp program registration is now open for members and guests. This is eight weeks of summer fun filled with activities and special guests and themes.
