Dulce Churro Cafe
A trip to Spain changed Jared Naumann's life. After savoring deep-fried churros dipped in warm chocolate, Naumann became enamored with the deep-fried treats. He returned to Spain to attend Churro School and came home to open Dulce Churro Cafe.
During his pastry education, Naumann learned that, according to legend, nomadic Spanish shepherds created the deep-fried pastries in the field and named them after the Churra sheep popular on the Iberian peninsula, whose horns look like a churro.
Naumann invites customers to create their own unique churros. You might savor your churro with cinnamon sugar like those you find in Mexico. Or, you could go South America-style and fill it with Dulce de Leche. Don’t forget the dip—traditional chocolate or caramel or a creative mango or guava.
