Brandon Glenn has always had an eye for design, as well as a penchant for business, and a competitive spirit. He is a graduate of the interior design program at SCAD, with vast experience sourcing fabrics, refinishing antiques, and staging homes. And he is also an All-Star competitive cheer coach. But in 2020, like most, he found himself with a lot more time at home than normal – and in that time, he hatched the idea that would become Glenn Atelier. “Coming from a background in competitive sports,” says Brandon, “I knew that if I was going to do it, I was going to aim to be the best I could be at it.”
He succeeded. When we asked our social media followers who they wanted to see featured, the enthusiasm for Glenn Atelier was undeniable. “I love having a shop where I can offer our residents unique items to make their homes even more beautiful. Even though it’s a short drive to Buckhead / West Midtown, we are hoping to keep that business in Smyrna.”
In addition to notable lines such as Coley Home, Visual Comfort & Co., and Brooklyn Candle Studio, you’ll find European brands, antiques, and local art. The organic blues and greens throughout are both soothing and versatile. “I think art and decor are visual representations that define the person and the space’s personality, and to me, the best way to define a space and give it soul is through color.”
