About Us

Established in 2002 in Graniteville, S.C., Horse Creek Academy began with grades 4K-6 in portable units, fostering a close-knit community focused on each child's education. It expanded to include 7th and 8th grades, emphasizing individualized attention. In 2013, recognizing limitations in space, the administration sought expansion. By 2014, a property in Aiken was purchased, leading to a name change from Midland Valley Preparatory School to Horse Creek Academy, symbolizing its move to Aiken's horse country while honoring its roots.
