The Melissa Rippy Agency is a locally owned and operated small business that opened in the Brighton Pavilions in 2013. Melissa has been in the insurance industry since 2002. She has an extensive claims background which provides invaluable knowledge for coverage discussions and claims guidance with each Customer. The Rippy Agency annually honors a Brighton High Senior with a $1,000 scholarship. Melissa served on the non-profit boards of the 27J Education Foundation, Brighton Legacy Foundation and Brighton Shares the Harvest. She also co-founded Ripbeams, a nonprofit in memory of her dad. In 2014, the Rippy Agency was named Business of the Year People’s Choice Award and 2021 Small Business of the Year by the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce. Allstate agency owner Melissa Rippy was designated an Allstate Premier Agency for 2016, 2019 and 2020, In 2021 and 2022, the Rippy Agency was designated an Elite Agency, which represents the top 3% of agencies in the country.
