2. Cambridge High School

The website Niche.com has ranked the school as having the #6 Best Public High Teachers in Georgia, as well as being the #11 Best Public High Schools in Georgia and the #13 Best College Prep Public High Schools in Georgia. Cambridge High School has over 82% of students that are testing above average for math and reading.

They offer some fantastic courses for students, including 25 AP courses, 7 CTAE Pathways, and many visual arts programs. Some of the special courses they offer include:

3. Rivers Academy

This private school is considered to be one of the best schools in Alpharetta, and it has roughly 260 students in grades 5-12. It boasts a fantastic 100% graduation rate along with an incredibly low student-to-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. One unique thing about the school is its 3-day model, which allows for students and families to participate in other activities throughout the week. 

The school runs Tuesday through Thursday, with an optional study hall on Fridays. They also ensure to include all of the regular experiences children would get in a traditional school by including field trips, school dances, and traditional graduation. 4. Fulton Science Academy Private School

One of the best private schools in Alpharetta is Fulton Science Private Academy. They have about 900 students in grades K-12 and an excellent student-to-teacher ratio of 9 to 1. Their tuition fee is in the 14k range for the highest grade offered, and they have 100% of students that attend a 4-year college after graduation. 

Students at the school love their rigorous academics and excellent teachers who do a great job of helping the students achieve their goals. The students also enjoy a wide selection of courses such as Turkish, Media & Video Editing, Cyber Security, and Essentials of Healthcare. 5. William & Reed Academy

This school is one of the best schools in the area if you are looking for small class sizes and awesome extracurriculars. They have an approximate student population of about 150 students in grades 6-12 and a student-to-teacher ratio of 9 to 1, which is one of the lowest in the state. The tuition for William & Reed Academy is in the 12k range, and 90% of the graduates go on to a 4-year college. 

The school has a 4-day work week, encouraging family togetherness and time management. The school also has shorter academic days (ending at 12:30 pm), allowing students to pursue other interests in the afternoons during a Flex period which is ideal for students who are focused on athletics or artistic pursuits. The students and families love the shorter week and enjoy the tailored education that helps them prepare for their college education.
