In a live challenge pitting celebrity against celebrity, New Day Foundation’s annual Celebrity Lip Sync Battle featured eight new celebrities at Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel, Detroit, on Nov. 30. Among them:
New Day Foundation for Families (foundationforfamilies.org), based in Rochester Hills, provides financial and emotional resources to families facing cancer across Michigan. Eight celebrity teams compete on behalf of a local New Day family, with proceeds from the event benefiting the organization through its network of social workers at more than 70 hospitals across the state.
