TEXT FOR RECIPE
Toe Curling Strawberry Fettucine
Ingredients
2 pints fresh strawberries, hulled
3 tbsp. strawberry balsamic vinegar
1 lb. fresh fettuccine
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shaved
1/2 cup butter olive oil (Venice Olive Oil Co.)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Puree the strawberries and balsamic vinegar.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Transfer the pasta to a large serving bowl and toss with the cheese, olive oil, nutmeg, cream and strawberry puree until well coated.
Serve immediately with something sparkling…I'm thinking a nice prosecco, but diamonds are nice too.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
