As summer peaks and Boiseans continue exploring the outdoors, it's the perfect time to chat about some cold sweet treats you can find in the Treasure Valley:

1. @Swagpopsgourmet

Found in Meridian, Nicolette McKinlay is taking popsicles to a whole new level. Follow her on Instagram to order or find her food truck. From the Old Town Rocky Road to the Hello Meridian flavour, she'll leave you craving more.

2. @Trailheadice

Add this to your Boise Bucketlist. You can find these fellas at the 34th Street market. Italian Ice is a dairy & gluten-free dessert made with real sugar!

3. @Alohafresh.shavedice

Ya'll know how I feel about aloha and shaved ice. Located at the Eagle Albertsons off of Hwy 44 & Eagle Rd. They have natural flavours served with fresh fruit.

4. @C4creamery

One of the latest food trends that have hit Boise and the Southwest's newest gem - rolled ice cream. You can't find it anywhere else. Photo: @TastefullyTyler

5. @Ilovethestil

In the heart of Boise, The Sweetest Things in Life is one of my favourite ice cream shops. It has such an incredible vibe you want to hang out in. Not only do they have alcoholic ice creams, but they also have something for puppies.

6. @Goodysboise

An old-fashioned ice cream, chocolate, & candy store in the heart of Boise's charming Historic Hyde Park District. I had my last first date here. Pro tip: Take home a quart of their chocolate with crushed almonds for your next party.

7. @Cloverleaf_creamery

This is dairy done right. I always get my milk from the glass bottle here.

8. @Boiseicecreamfestival

Not exactly a restaurant, but not something you want to miss. This local festival was founded by Scott from @Boise's Best Bites and will be back in the coming year with special collaborations and events.
