Did you know that socks are one of the most needed and least donated clothing items at homeless shelters? For people experiencing homelessness, the small gift of a new pair of socks can impact their health and their dignity in a big way.
For five years now (excepting last year) during November and December, Kathleen and her fellow Farmers Insurance agent Kim Jackson have collected socks at their office to distribute to area shelters including Good Samaritan House, Denver Rescue Mission, and Catholic Charities.
In previous years, Kathleen has collected over 600 pairs. We invite you to partner with us this year to reach a goal of 1,000 pairs. Call or text 303-428-6511 to schedule a porch pick-up or to arrange drop-off. Thank you for helping keep feet warm in Colorado this winter.
