Every year, the Pantone "gods" unveil a Pantone color for sprucing up decor. That 2022 Pantone color is a shade to encourage creativity and imaginative expression. That color is "Very Peri", Pantone 17-3938.

Very Peri is a periwinkle blue that is said to symbolize change and optimism. It is a color of realism and escapism, with a whimsical play that brings joy, freshness and vibrancy to decor and home. It pairs well with soft green colors for calm, and vibrant hues of yellows for alertness, as well as many others, making it a unique new neutral that was newly created for this very season. This is the first time a brand new shade has been created in the history of the yearly Pantone forecast trend.
Other very popular colors are Sherwin William's Evergreen Fog and Valspar's Sunset Curtains - a pastel take on salmon pink.
