Zoe- 26 Marketing Director for Sunshine Movers who came from cornfields to palm trees, Zoe was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, calling Florida her home 9 years ago. Her interests are all things performing arts, from choir to theatre, Zoe loves the spotlight. Starting her career in the moving industry, her passions shifted to networking and marketing. Joining the SRQ chamber, the LWRBA and The Womens Council of Realtors SRQ, she loves to be a part of the community. Megan- 34 Lead Planner & Creative Assistant for Luxury Event Planning Agency from Pittsburgh, PA who is very passionate about supporting smaller charities that have a large impact in our community. One of the things she loves most about her profession is that it allows her the freedom to volunteer and be involved with her son's school, as well as work with charities in Sarasota. Megan supports Selah Freedom, Payton Wright Foundation, PRIDE, Satchels Last Resort, & Flight to the North Pole. Her goals are to embark on a journey to fill life with meaningful experiences and global adventures (with lots of food)! Doug- 59 Always making people smile, joking, enjoying life to its fullest, and humorous, Originally from Clevland Ohio area but don’t hold that against him, has lived here in Sarasota for 10 years. Civil Engineer graduate from Case, and a Vic. President for a large construction company here in Florida, as well owns and operates a specialty foundation company in Maryland. Loves the Sarasota area and especially the theater and arts here, supports the Local Ballet, and children’s charities here in the area. Past time and hobbies include meeting new people and making friendships, golfing, and relaxing at our beautiful the beaches, fine dining and traveling.
Austin-36 The son of U.S. Navy Veterans, Dr. Lyman entered healthcare service as a dental assistant during high school, which continued through his B.A. in Spanish & Latin American Studies at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, his M.S. in Biomedical Science at Barry University and his D.M.D. at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. He completed a 1-year Maxillofacial Internship at University of Maryland and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma along with his Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Lyman maintains a full scope surgery private-practice, emphasizing wisdom teeth, dental implants, bone grafting, TMJ treatment, Botox, Facial Fillers, microneedling and skin resurfacing with Anesthesiology. He recently relocated to Lakewood Ranch, opening his state-of-the-art surgery center at Lakewood Ranch Oral & Facial Surgery. He enjoys cycling and jiu-jitsu regularly as well as more recent adventures with snowboarding and Alaskan fishing.
Ben- 33 In a town like Sarasota, it isn’t hard to find art or music. Sarasota’s music scene is vibrant and thriving, due in part to the artists who work all year-round perfecting and performing their craft. BABYL is one of those musicians. Ben Jacobs, BABYL, is a singer/songwriter and performer in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. With influences such as Sam Cooke, Jeff Buckley, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Elton John, BABYL, prides himself in being multi-generational pop, indie, rock, soul, and R&B Artist. Beginning his musical endeavors at 14, he has opened for various national acts, toured the US, and most recently released a song on the PBS documentary “The Sarasota Experience”. Off the stage, you can find him around the Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch downtown scene, supporting local businesses, modeling, and enjoying the sunset. BABYL also enjoys reading, martial arts, hiking, weightlifting, and checking out the nightlife scene.
