Earning impressive accolades for her breadth of knowledge, ethical practices and expertise in negotiating, real estate agent Rosemary Allison is considered one of the most well-respected and sought after agents in the business.
An agent affiliated with the Westlake Village Regional office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Allison earned the prestigious honor of being ranked among the Top 250 real estate agents in the United States, as announced in the 2018 REAL Trends “The Thousand” report published in The Wall Street Journal. In other honors, last year she achieved the remarkable feat of closing more than $90 million in residential real estate.
“Extensive marketing is essential to the successful sale of any product or service and I feel I offer sellers a comprehensive marketing program,” says Allison, whose business, Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, serves the unincorporated area of Ventura County called Santa Rosa Valley.
She sells all types of residential real estate throughout Ventura County, including Westlake Village, Agoura, Oak Park, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Wood Ranch, Camarillo and Oxnard, as well as Ventura Beach areas, North Ranch, Lake Sherwood and Santa Rosa Valley. These include $350,000 townhomes to $8,000,000 estate residences.

Her husband, Jim Allison, a real estate attorney, is a member of the California Association of Realtors Legal Affairs forum, which keeps him aware of the current case law and recent legislation. His awareness of the current laws and legislation assures his wife’s clients that they have the security of knowing that their agent has been carefully schooled to avoid many of the problems facing sellers today.
Aside from her job, Allison is also well known in the community for her generosity and philanthropic endeavors.

She was honored as the Volunteer of the Year due to her extensive community involvement: she chaired the most successful American Cancer gala in Ventura County as well as a past For the Troops gala and is currently chairing the upcoming For the Troops gala on February 23. She is also actively involved in supporting St. Jude’s, Ventura County Sheriff's Foundation, Thousand Oaks High School, Santa Rosa Technology Magnet School, Operation Snowflake, Thousand Oaks Police Charitable Foundation, and the YMCA.
Allison’s vocation as a real estate agent was inspired by the fact that she’s always loved researching and viewing homes.
“As a teenager I used to ride around on my bicycle checking on homes for my parents to consider purchasing,” she recalled. “I got my real estate license at the tender age of 20 years old and have been selling real estate full time ever since. So much has changed in our industry, but what hasn't changed is that if you put your clients’ needs first, sales will follow.”
Above all, she loves helping people realize their real estate goals.
“One of the highlights of my career is now helping the grown children of past clients achieve their real estate dreams,” Allison says. “In 2018 I had the honor of representing the grown children of two of my past clients whose homes I sold eons ago. The trust that they have in my ability to represent their children in the purchase of their family home fills my heart with gratitude and joy.”
REAL Trends ranked Allison No. 181 on the list of the Top 250 real estate agents in the U.S. based on closed sales volume in 2017 ranking among the more than 1,250,000 Realtors nationwide.
