doTERRA recently launched its summertime suncare line, which includes sticks, sprays, and drops that are infused with SPF. For relaxing days spent watching television or playing games, doTERRA also has products that protect from blue light.
In addition to its topical products, doTERRA also offers a variety of supplements and wellness packets.
Essential oils can be either cold-pressed from rines or steam distilled. Translated from Latin, doTERRA means “gift of the earth.”
This company is the only essential oil company that sells certified pure tested-grade essential oils, meaning they use plants from clean growing areas, and their oils are tested for toxins before they are sold to customers.
“We want to make sure when we’re using these aromatic compounds, that have these amazing aromas, that we are taking in the goodness and we don’t have any toxins added with that,” said Rosalie Elliott, a wellness advocate for doTERRA.
Elliott said she has used essential oils from the company for over 12 years. She earned her business degree from Cal Poly Pomona, but eventually found her passion was helping people. After a variety of other business ventures, Elliott said she believes that God brought this business to her.
“When doTERRA came along, I was very grounded in my faith and I knew that my time on this earth was about loving people and bringing people to know the love of the Lord,” Elliott said.
Elliott brings her own personal faith and knowledge of essential oils to Chino Hills in hopes of educating more families on how to incorporate doTERRA products into their lifestyles.
Not only has she used these oils personally, but her family and pets have also integrated doTerra into their everyday lives. Elliott said as a mother and grandmother, she loves that children and pets can use doTERRA products as well.
“This was a way of helping people with their mindset, with their heart, with what was going on in the family, and around them at work and how they can stay grounded in either their own faith or meditations.”
However, Elliott said that there are specific guidelines for pets and children to ensure they can use the products safely. Since the oils are very concentrated, Elliott said, she dilutes doTERRA oils with specialized coconut oil.
Elliott said she is focused on helping find natural solutions to assist people in their wellness goals. Just like adults, children and pets have different wellness needs, so Elliott said every pet and child might have a different mix of oils for their lifestyles.
