Serenity Recovery is a hidden oasis in Folsom that provides luxury recovery services alongside a dual-diagnosis addiction medicine and residential recovery facility that is designed to help those who are struggling with substance abuse. The founders recognized Folsom as a great location to offer their services of helping clients build a foundation for recovery, gain tools to overcome addiction, and ultimately, gain control of their lives. All while in 24-hour custom care.
Serenity Recovery is located in a blissfully serene and quiet neighborhood next to the American River, in a 3-floor mini-mansion on 2 acres of land. All bedrooms are private singles with king-size beds, offering beautiful views of the property and wildlife. All treatment modalities are research-backed approaches that support patients in directing their lives in healthier directions.
At Serenity, patients live onsite to obtain and maintain physical and psychological stability. The goal of the treatment is to stop using substances and to develop skills and tools that patients can use beyond recovery to maintain sobriety. The treatment team works closely with their patients from treatment planning to aftercare services and support.
The facility is a special place as are the people who run it and work there. Fitting for this month's Love Local theme as the people who run the program and work at the facility are visibly passionate about their work, supporting the community, and caring for their clients. Dr. Ariel Place, the Director of Serenity Recovery, says an important part of recovery is "learning to love oneself and to receive love from others."
The team is comprised of professionals that include trauma-informed doctorate-level clinicians, licensed therapists, certified substance use counselors, an X-waivered psychiatrist, and attentive, compassionate mental health specialists available 24 hours a day.
It's clear to see why Serenity Recovery has higher-than-average recovery rates. The program is compassionate and comprehensive, and the beautiful facility supports recovery and healing. Serenity-Recovery.Health
