What was your first car and your first concert?
Chris Maddock, Glendale
My first car was a 1975 Ford Maverick.
The car was my grandmother's. It was forest green with pea green interior. And, no matter how hard I hit the gas pedal, it would only accelerate as fast as my grandma would drive...which was not fast.
My first concert was Aerosmith.
Brian Edison, Glendale
My first car was an '82 Buick Century.
My first concert was REO Speedwagon.
"My dad was flying back from Philadelphia, and seated next to him was the band's manager. He offered my dad two tickets and backstage passes. My dad chose me as his guest! I was 12!"
Glen Travers, Webster Groves (with his two granddaughters)
My first car was a 1970 white Triumph Spitfire that broke down at least once a week, but it was a real chick magnet!
My first concert was The Moody Blues at the old Kiel Auditorium in downtown St. Louis.
Dan Hugge, Glendale
My first car was a station wagon.
My first concert was Rush.
Brent Sutter (with his wife Dana Sutter), Kirkwood
My first car was a 1983 Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo.
My first concert was Duran Duran's The Ragged Tiger World Tour.
"The funny thing about that show was that I was 12 or 13 when my mom dropped us off at the arena. She then came back to pick us up. Kinda like the movie Almost Famous if you've seen it."
Nick Nodurft, Kirkwood
My first car was a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
My first concert was Incubus.
Nick Hommowun, Glendale.
My first car was a 2004 Chevy Cavalier.
My first concert was Taylor Swift.
Mike Behan of Des Peres
