If you haven’t been to Hopstix in downtown Chamblee, perhaps now is the time! Hopstix is an Asian Brewpub known for its Asian inspired dishes and award-winning craft beer.
Andy Tan, owner of Hopstix, says Chamblee was the perfect location for his restaurant. Led to Chamblee by its multicultural diversity, Andy says it reminded him of growing up in his hometown in Indonesia where he grew up immersed in a melting pot of different cultures. “I feel like Chamblee is a true melting pot,” Andy says. “…It’s just natural that Chamblee was THE choice when choosing a location for Hopstix.”
Andy says Hopstix is a fusion of flavors from countries all around Asia. “I wanted to bring something unique to Atlanta’s Asian food scene,” he says, adding that Hopstix combines the best of Asian Fusion with a brewpub bringing diners the best of both. Influences include China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the surrounding southeast Asia region, and Japan and Korea as well. “This is what makes us really unique.”
The menu features Bowls such as Katsu Curry, Robatayaki (fireside) Grill dishes, Raw Bar items like Bluefin Tuna, and Favorites. Andy says some of the popular menu items include Curry Fries with house-made curry spice, Soto, and the Super Bowl with pork belly.
Not only can you get your fill of Asian-inspired foods, but Hopstix also offers hand-crafted and house-made Pale, Amber, Specialty Lagers, Ales and IPAs, including the popular Rice and Shine – a lager made with jasmine rice, Silk Road – a stout made with coffee, and Ju Hua – a specialty lager.
And if you’re a fan of tuna, you don’t want to miss Tuna Thursday. When Bluefin Tuna arrives, it’s an obsession when patrons can enjoy all things tuna!
