“Did you know that spinners chase away moles and gophers? Just put one near their hole and the vibration makes them hightail it away.”
“We also have whirligigs for all ages, including a ladybug that carries a ‘Louis Vuitton’ purse and a bee that is dressed in ‘Oscar Bug la Renta.’”

“We are looking forward to the biggest season for our business. It is always a fun time to share with our customers. We are thankful for their time and joyous attitude,” they say, adding that, “when Santa Claus comes, the wonderment of the kids is exhilarating.”
During the store’s special Santa visit, visitors can have their picture made with him for free and snack on warm cookies and hot chocolate to really get into the spirit of the season.
It’s not just Christmastime that John and Dyna eagerly anticipate—every major holiday is a reason to celebrate at D & J Custom Crafts.
“We produce high quality and exciting wood lawn decorations. There is such a variety of items to see! We celebrate Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, and all occasions in between.”
“We have the perfect gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, anniversaries, and birthdays. We have two barns filled with items—one is just for our Christmas Gingerbread and an Elf Village. The other is for everything else. We are loaded with inventory!”
It’s clear to see John and Dyna are passionate about what they do. Running a successful business is a labor of love, and definitely a team effort for the couple as well—John builds the items and Dyna paints them.
