Dogs have always been a part of my life. Growing up, my siblings were much older so the family dog was my best buddy and playmate. I couldn't imagine my life without one. Then, after my best friend of 19 years, a Rat Terrier-Chihuahua named Casey passed away, my heart was broken. Depression set in. Our bond had been so strong, I was sure that she had been a once in a life time dog for me.
About three months later, I decided it was time to try and find a new buddy. There were a few failed attempts, but then Allie and I met at a pet rescue. It was instant love for both of us. When she put her chin on my chest and fell asleep, a great wave of happiness came over me. I didn't realize how much I'd been grieving until that moment. And just like that, Allie made me feel whole again.
She is a constant companion. Mama's bestie. There's not many places I go without her. Allie had been a stay at home pup until she accepted the Puplick Relations position at North Florida Rehab and Chiropractic. We knew Allie would be a great candidate for the position as she had been there for me after the loss of my father and my car accident. She takes her job seriously and works very hard to fulfill her duties. Many of our patients have been involved in traumatic accidents and Allie is always there to comfort and support them. Her presence brings a smile to everyone who comes to the practice.

Allie has become so popular she has her own Instagram and Facebook pages (LifeofAllieKat), where you can follow her adventures in the office, at home and on vacation. Allie enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, serving as a National BARK Ranger and lounging in the pool.
