Since the early 90’s when Dr. Miles Graivier invented his Deep Suture Suspension Necklift to give the longest-lasting, most natural contour and tightness, there has not been any other procedure to compare with these results. The MyEllevate Necklift gives long-lasting contour and lifting to the neck and jawline: A significant improvement to liposuction alone. In some cases, additional skin is present which needs to be removed. When this is necessary, this is done from behind the ears and possibly in front of the ears if there is a significant amount of skin excess: MyEllevate Plus. These incisions heal exceedingly well. You may have difficulty finding them.
MyEllevate allows the doctors to place the suspension sutures through small punctures in the neck which are already being used for laser or radiofrequency-assisted liposuction of the neck and jowls. The laser or radiofrequency-assisted liposuction of the neck and jowls is performed first. Then the MyEllevate suspension sutures are placed, spanning the neck (under the skin) to form a sling to the muscles which give necessary support to the deep structures of the neck. Additionally, the MyEllevate device is used to gently release the vertical muscular bands of the neck. Dr. Graivier originally used the Surgiwire, his previous invention, to do this release, but MyEllevate has brought all of these tools together to make the application of the technique seamless.
The Great news: MyEllevate and MyEllevate Plusare are done under local anesthesia with state-of-the-art oral sedation. It is minimally invasive which is less painful, less costly, and has less healing time than more extensive surgeries.
